Fight Back Against
Greed & Lies
Greed & Lies cause a lot of destruction in today’s business world.
Investors with deep pockets can manipulate the stock value of a company and thus generate huge profits for themselves and at the same time damage or even destroy the results of many years of hard work of 1,000s of people.
Theoretically, such behavior is criminal, but it is hard to prove and to sanction.
And the destructive activities are supported by a substantial financial eco-system whose role should be to provide stability and support, but the reality is that a lot of exaggeration, copy&paste, unproven assumptions, illogical conclusions and unprofessional behaviour help the greedy destructive forces to reach their goals.
A Free Market
A free market is an economic system in which the prices of goods and services are determined by supply and demand expressed by sellers and buyers.
Market manipulation is conduct designed to deceive investors by controlling or artificially affecting the price of securities. Manipulation is illegal in most cases, but it can be difficult for regulators and other authorities to detect and prove.
Market manipulation may involve factually false statements as well, but it always seeks to influence prices in order to mislead other market participants.
A bear raid is an illegal practice of colluding to push a stock’s price lower through concerted short selling, while spreading negative rumors about the shorted company. A bear raid is sometimes undertaken by unscrupulous short sellers who want to make a quick buck from their short positions, leveraging social media platforms and online message boards
Open for Manipulation
It seems too easy for greedy parties to manipulate a stock in turbulent times. There is a whole eco-system around each stock, consisting of investors, analysts and media who are supposed to show competence and domain expertise about the respective business.
But increasingly, these “experts” play along, fail to look at the hard facts, get easily misled, don’t use any common sense and thus support the goals of the greedy ones.
